Rising Demand for Tofu
According to Minh Tsai, the founder of Hodo, sales in the tofu sector have surged by 8% from 2021 to 2023, as highlighted by insights from GFI/SPINS. He pointed out that younger generations are increasingly embracing tofu, emphasizing the need for retailers to expand their tofu selections. The demand is clear: consumers are searching for flavorful, nutritious, and transparent protein sources.
