Introduction of Serenity Hydra Summum Facial

In an inspiring move towards greater inclusivity within the beauty industry, the professional skincare brand Guinot has introduced a facial treatment specifically crafted for those dealing with life-altering illnesses. Partnering with the UK charity Made for Life Foundation, Guinot has created the Serenity Hydra Summum Facial to provide comforting care for individuals battling cancer and other terminal illnesses.

This groundbreaking treatment not only seeks to fill a critical gap in accessible beauty therapies but also empowers therapists with specialized skills to tailor safe, personalized care. Recognizing that nearly half of all people will be impacted by cancer at some point in their lives, Guinot underscores the urgent need for more inclusive beauty solutions.

Details of the Treatment

The Serenity Hydra Summum Facial is a 60-minute experience priced at £80/€92, designed to offer both relaxation and rejuvenation. This innovative treatment employs gentle touch techniques to create a calming, meditative environment.

Targeted procedures comprise skin exfoliation, application of a concentrated serum, soothing massage, and the placement of a restorative mask. Each session begins with a thorough 30-minute consultation to address the specific needs of the client.

Training for Therapists

To facilitate this new initiative, Guinot has also rolled out the Cancer Care Course. With endorsement from Habia, this training program teaches therapists the essential elements of administering the Serenity Hydra Summum Facial, empowering them to support clients through various stages of their cancer journey.

Upon completing a comprehensive two-day workshop, participants will earn the Guinot Oncology Certificate and gain registration with both the Made for Life Foundation and the Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care (SATCC).

Amanda Winwood, founder and managing director of the Made for Life Foundation, spoke about the importance of a reputable brand like Guinot reaching out to millions vulnerable to cancer. She shared her enthusiasm for the response from the Guinot team and the uplifting feedback from clients who have benefited from the SATCC-approved training.
