Appointment Announcement

L’Oréal Groupe has announced the appointment of Christina Fair as the new President of its Consumer Products Division (CPD) in North America, effective immediately. In this pivotal role, she will report directly to David Greenberg, CEO of L’Oréal USA and President of the North America Zone, as well as Alexis Perakis-Valat, who leads L’Oréal’s Consumer Products Division globally.

Christina Fair’s Career Journey

Since 2020, Christina Fair has been spearheading L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) in North America, where she has overseen a number of leading brands—namely CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Skinbetter Science, and Vichy. Under her guidance, LDB became L’Oréal’s third-largest division in the U.S., achieving impressive sales growth and enhancing its market presence. The brands she managed gained significant recognition, often praised by dermatologists, pediatricians, and pharmacists nationwide for their quality and efficacy.

Fair’s journey with L’Oréal began back in 2008 when she took on several leadership roles within the U.S. Consumer Products Division. Her expertise grew as she held key marketing positions for well-known brands, including Garnier and Maybelline New York. In 2015, she led global marketing for SkinCeuticals before becoming the US General Manager for the brand later that year. Thanks to her strategic vision, SkinCeuticals rose to prominence in the professional skincare arena.

Looking Ahead

David Greenberg shared his excitement about Christina Fair stepping into her new role. He praised her remarkable ability to bring about transformational change in every segment she has managed, specifically noting her successes within the Dermatological Beauty Division. Greenberg believes her keen strategic insights, bold decision-making, and entrepreneurial spirit are essential for driving the ongoing success of the Consumer Products Division, which boasts a distinguished portfolio that includes beloved names like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier, Essie, and NYX Professional Makeup.

Christina Fair succeeds Nathalie Gerschtein, who has chosen to explore new career opportunities outside of L’Oréal Groupe.
